Why are people happy? Not because they have a lot of money and can afford everything.
The happy ones are people who live reconciled. Reconciled with themselves, with their fellow human beings, with their fate, with God.
Reconciliation is an outstretched hand, a constructive debate, a tender hug, but also a hopeful struggle against the causes of injustice and the destruction of creation.
This book follows the biblical trail of good and bad luck, of guilt and forgiveness.
It also answers the question: what helps us to reconcile with our fractures?
The return to paradise is not a promise of the "after" or a utopian fiction.
Despite all wounds and disturbances, reconciliation is a way to be happy in the here and now.
