DESCRIPTION:

A wave of gruesome crimes sends shockwaves through the Paris Banlieue. Sandro, a journalist with a troubled history, embarks on an investigation into a serial killer whose signature is brutally biting their victims to shreds. Simultaneously, a sinister underbelly of drug trafficking and prostitution thrives under the eerie umbrella of an unconventional nightclub known as The Archangel.

Throughout this harrowing quest for truth, Sandro finds an unexpected ally in Irene, the woman he holds dear and is determined to win back. Irene, a dedicated journalist, is engrossed in her coverage of an exhibition on Black Romanticism for a prominent Italian newspaper. Little does she know that someone else, an ageless enigma who has walked the Earth since time immemorial, hungers to possess her. This restless entity is Ethan, the Eternal.

The ancient prophecy binding these events unfolds, merging the realms of the real and the supernatural. The narrative is drenched in mystery and romance, where these two elements seamlessly coexist within an evocative and unconventional backdrop. Against the backdrop of a wounded Paris, still reeling from the aftermath of the Bataclan terrorist attack, the characters' journeys provide a unique perspective on the city's soul.

From the age-old windows of Place des Vosges in the heart of the Marais, through the enchanting streets of Saint Louis en l'Île and the grandeur of the Orsay Museum, all the way to the desolation of the Banlieue, the reader embarks on a captivating journey through the landscapes of the human spirit, forever yearning for the eternal.
