Award Win for Shafik Meghji’s "Small Earthquakes"

We’re delighted to announce that author Shafik Meghji has won the BGTW Members’ Excellence Award for Travel Narrative Book of the Year for Small Earthquakes: A Journey Through Lost British History in South America, published by Hurst Publishers.

An acclaimed journalist, travel writer, and broadcaster, Shafik is the co-author of more than forty-five guidebooks, with work appearing in National Geographic Traveller, BBC Travel, Lonely Planet, Geographical, and The Guardian. His debut book, Crossed Off the Map, was previously shortlisted for the Edward Stanford Travel Book of the Year 2023.
