DESCRIPTION:
Unlike many other religions, Christianity was conceptually independent from early stages. While confronting with philosophical concepts, it has developed various forms of “theology”. In order to be able to formulate their arguments, theologians were referred to the conceptual framework and the philosophical concepts of their respective times.
Dirk Ansorge broadly traces the epochs of the history of theology from late antiquity to the present day and makes central theological statements understandable from their respective historical contexts and concepts.
This way it appears in all clarity that with the change of cultures, mentalities and ways of thinking, questions and arguments of theology also change.
