But he offers a highly interesting view of how classics of world literature have wrestled with this question: from the Bible to Dostoyevsky's "Brothers Karamazov" to Elie Wiesel's Holocaust memoirs to contemporary German literature.
Basic explanatory models of conventional and modern theology are also not missing.
