DESCRIPTION:
The author reflects on the transmission of faith within the context of current challenges. No matter how varied the local church settings may be, the digital context with its opportunities and limitations is universally present.
This book outlines paths that can enhance catechesis. It explores connections in everyday life and examines the contexts in which the message of the Christian church faith can resonate. In the three sacramental catechetical areas of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, the author develops exemplary approaches for mystagogical proclamation at the intersection of preaching and catechesis. – With a foreword by Archbishop Rino Fisichella.
