DESCRIPTION:

What if we finally banished Prince Charming from our lives – or better yet, from our dreams?

In Women Who No Longer Suffer for Love, acclaimed feminist thinker and communicator Coral Herrera dismantles the myth of romantic love that has shaped the lives of millions of women. With clarity and insight, Herrera shows how education, fairy tales, Hollywood movies, and religious traditions have turned us into addicts of the "romantic miracle," keeping us tied to an idealized vision of love that does not exist.

Herrera argues that this illusion benefits the patriarchy: as long as women remain chained to the search for their “perfect partner,” they stay weak, distracted, and disconnected from the collective power that could challenge the system.

This book is much more than an essay — it is a guide to emotional emancipation. It invites both women and men to let go of outdated roles and painful expectations, and to build relationships based on freedom, equality, and joy.

Coral Herrera delivers a hopeful and revolutionary message: breaking free from the myth of romantic love may be a slow and challenging process, but it is also liberating and deeply rewarding. Women Who No Longer Suffer for Love reminds us that love should not hurt — and that other, healthier ways of loving are possible.
