DESCRIPTION:

Warm, heartfelt stories that insistently look at a geography often discussed independently of its people, their longings, their realities, their tastes, and their colors, through a different window.

Suzan Samancı, who has become one of the beloved writers both in Turkey and abroad through her previously published stories and novels, conveys the voices of life “over there” in Helin Smelled of Resin, a collection of fifteen stories, with the unsettling power of the everyday.
