DESCRIPTION:
The streets of Taranto are certainly not those of Berlin, nor anywhere near those of London or New York. Yet it was there, in 1993, that Fabrizio Giannese (aka Fabban) planted the first seeds of what would later become known as Aborym. Through the years, numerous artists and producers collaborated with the band — from Bard “Faust” Eithun (ex-Emperor) and Nattefrost (Carpathian Forest), to Prime Evil (Mysticum), Sin Quirin (Ministry), Karyn Crisis, and producers Guido Elmi, Keith Hillebrandt, and sound engineers Marc Urselli and Andrea Corvo. This study traces the band’s entire journey — from bold early interviews to substance abuse, descending into despair and eventually rising within. Both hated and celebrated, since the beginning Aborym has made listeners feel they were encountering something terrifying, scandalous, accusatory, perfect yet flawed, deliberate yet accidental. This is your chance to discover why.
