Already during the lifetime of Jesus the apostles discussed who among them had more to say. And to this day, the question of the position of individuals within the Christian community still plays a role. This phenomenon appears today in current debates about church crisis and church reform under the keyword clericalism. This has not only something to do with clergy, but above all with power - personal and institutional. Whoever hopes for less power-affine church structures in this regard has the New Testament on his side. For Jesus, Mark, Matthew and Co. have fought against the temptation of power, which has accompanied the Jesus movement since its beginnings.
