Miraggi Edizioni
Miraggi Edizioni is a publishing house based in Turin, founded in 2010, with the goal of publishing books that would otherwise not find a place in the publishing market. Its catalog is marked by a distinctive style and a commitment to exploring less-traveled paths. The catalog is divided into two main series: Miraggi Baskerville, dedicated to high literary quality, especially translations and Italian authors with “uncomfortable” or “disobedient” content and styles; and Miraggi Garamond, a more “pop” series that includes debut authors, established writers, essays, comics, and experimental works.

Everyone lies. About who they are, and about what they want. To others, as well as to themselves.
It takes the murder of the beautiful and much coveted daughter of the local landlord to reveal the truth about the villagers of Pontescuro, a small village in the north of Italy; about who they really are, and how petty and small their hearts can be.
This is a story about the courage it takes to be oneself and the cowardice of denying this freedom of identity; revealing, in the clash, our collective human fragility.
Set in Italy in 1922, the new novel by breakthrough author and Strega nominee Luca Ragagnin is literary fiction at its best.
