Egea is a publishing company controlled by Bocconi University. Founded in 1988 with the purpose of recording, promoting and spreading academic economic-managerial culture, Egea/Bocconi publish textbooks for higher education, long-life learning, professional and trade books, along with non-fiction ranging from Geopolitics, Economics, History of Ideas, Sociology and Politics to the most adventurous, controversial, paradigmatic business cases, and thought-provoking contributions on digital culture and other socio-economic phenomena.
Their current catalogue lists more than 1.300 titles, 900 digital products and 4 magazines. Their editorial system also includes one of the largest independent bookstores in Italy. Egea/Bocconi's mission is to develop the aptitude to thinking, reflecting and investigating, without breaking the intimate link between history and innovation.
Therefore, it should not be surprising that they have widened their offer to include qualified contents on current topics both in Italian and in English, publishing selected titles of high international appeal in both languages.
Unusual as it may appear for an Italian publisher to publish books also in the English language, the ever-increasing number of international students attending Bocconi business schools have highly appreciated the availability of key titles in English.
This way their evaluation is made easier for valued international publishers, too that are welcome to make the most of it, as well!
